The physical therapists at River Valley Physical Therapy are licensed healthcare professionals who are trained to prevent, restore and improve human movement and function using a specific set of skills.

It is important for our patients to understand that we will work closely together with the physician who referred you to us. Your physician has determined what your medical diagnosis is and has determined that you may benefit from physical therapy intervention.

Occasionally, a physician will request specific treatments methods for you (e.g., based on the type of surgery that you had or your medical diagnosis). Oftentimes, the physician will leave the type of intervention up to the physical therapist based on the physical therapist's experience with the treatment of commonly seen movement dysfunctions.
