Kara is our Office Manager, has been with RVPT since we opened our doors in 2008, and is the one who keeps our clinic running smoothly. With almost 20 years of experience as an administrative assistant, she is the go-to person for insurance questions, billing issues, and the friendliest face at River Valley PT. Kara resides in Bradley, IL, with her husband Mike and son.

Get To Know Me

What do you enjoy most about working in the Health Care Field?

I love working with people and using my 20+ years of experience to advocate for patients. At River Valley PT, one of our mottos is that "we do smalltalk." My staff and I work to make the front desk a welcoming place for patients, and I enjoy getting to know patients and their families over the course of their treatment. I have met some incredible patients and am thankful that they choose to return to us for their care or stop back in just to say, "Hi!" and update us on their lives.

What is something people may be surprised to learn about you?

My sister is my best friend...and also my next door neighbor! We love that our kids get to grow up together and how easy it is to walk over to each other's back porch for a cup of coffee and catching up.

What would your perfect afternoon off include?

My perfect afternoon off would start with a massage and a walk at Perry Farm with my dog Scarlet. I would end the day with a delicious dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant with my husband and son.
